Answering queries on remote and heterogeneous sources is a complex task. Mediators provide techniques that exploit a domain ontology. To propose a cooperative approach to repair queries without answers, we introduce the notion of solution which is a query close to the user's query. We describe how ontologies can be used to evaluate the similarity of two predicates, and then of two queries. The work presented has been developed in the PICSEL project. Examples come from the domain of tourism, the experimentation domain chosen for this project.
